Description
Isotech semi-standard thermocouples are reference sensors for 0 °C to 1300 °C. The noble-metal 935-14-91 and 935-14-88 (Type R or S) use platinum and platinum-rhodium in a 5 mm ceramic sheath; the 935-14-63 to -68 are lower-cost mineral-insulated Type N probes that can be bent to shape.
They are used as references in dry-block calibrators and with temperature indicators, and can be supplied with UKAS calibration (for example ±0.4 K from 50 °C to 660 °C for platinum types).
