Multi-turn electric actuators (7)

For valves that need many turns of the stem: gate, globe, sluice and penstock valves. Multi-turn actuators mount to ISO 5210 and are chosen by torque (30 to 3,000 N·m) and output speed (rpm), which sets the closing time.

What is an electric valve actuator?

An electric valve actuator is a motor and gearbox that opens, closes or positions a valve from an electrical signal, so the valve can be operated remotely or by a PLC/SCADA system instead of by hand. Quarter-turn actuators turn ball and butterfly valves 90°, multi-turn actuators drive gate and globe valves, and linear actuators push and pull control-valve stems.

What is the price of an electric actuator in Bangladesh?

The price depends mainly on the output torque, the control type (on/off or modulating 4–20 mA), the power supply, the brand and whether an explosion-proof or waterproof (IP68) version is needed. How do I choose the right actuator size?

Start from the valve's breakaway torque (from the valve maker) and add a safety margin. Most makers list maximum torque, with rated (continuous) torque around 75% of that; for modulating duty use a larger margin. Then match the ISO 5211 (quarter-turn) or ISO 5210 (multi-turn) flange and the stem size, and pick the voltage, control signal, ingress protection and running time.

Do you supply 24 V DC and 3-phase actuators?

Yes. Many small and medium quarter-turn models are available for AC/DC 24 V and single-phase AC 110–240 V, and larger quarter-turn and multi-turn models for 3-phase 380 V. Check the power supply line on each product page.

Do you have explosion-proof actuators for gas and chemical plants?

Yes, flameproof actuators from 35 to 8,000 N·m. Each product page states the Ex marking given by the manufacturer; ask us for the certificate for your project.

Can the actuator be fitted to my existing valve?

Usually, yes, if the valve has an ISO 5211 or ISO 5210 top flange. Tell us the flange size (for example F07 or F10) and the stem size and shape, and we will confirm whether a mounting bracket or coupling is needed.
