Description
The Isotech semi-standard Type R thermocouple is a noble-metal reference sensor for 0 °C to 1300 °C, built from platinum and platinum-rhodium in a 5 mm × 300 mm ceramic sheath. The 935-14-91/R has a 1 m compensating cable to a miniature plug; the 935-14-88/R uses platinum wires all the way to the plug.
It is used as a reference in high-temperature dry blocks and as a working industrial standard, and can be supplied with UKAS calibration.
