Description
The Rosemount 975UR flame detector uses Ultraviolet / infrared (UV/IR) technology to detect hydrocarbon fuel and gas fires. It detects a 0.1 m² gasoline or n-heptane pan fire at up to 28 m at its highest sensitivity, with a field of view of 100° horizontal × 95° vertical, and its response and sensitivity can be adapted to the area through HART or RS-485 Modbus.
It runs on 24 V DC, provides alarm, fault and auxiliary relays plus a stepped 0–20 mA output, operates from −60 to +85 °C with heated optics, is rated IP66/IP68 and carries flameproof and explosion-proof approvals and SIL 3 compatibility.
