Description
The Isotech 970 Pegasus R is a compact blackbody furnace for calibrating radiation pyrometers from 150 °C to 1,200 °C. Its 20 mm × 65 mm cavity has an emissivity of 0.995 and stability of ±0.1 °C, covering thermometers working from 0.9 to 14 µm.
An independent indicator with a sensor in the cavity shows the true radiance temperature, and the cavity can be swapped for indium, tin, zinc, aluminium or silver fixed-point cells for the lowest uncertainties.
