Description
The Isotech 982 Hyperion R is a portable low-temperature blackbody source for calibrating infrared thermometers and thermal imagers from −20 °C to 125 °C. Its isothermal 50 mm × 150 mm cavity gives an emissivity above 0.995, and thermoelectric heat pumps provide uniform, vibration-free heating and cooling with ±0.1 °C stability.
A built-in indicator with a platinum resistance thermometer establishes traceability, and an optional gallium fixed-point cell gives a precise 29.7646 °C reference.
