Description
The APG NLS is a pneumatic level switch: as liquid rises in a standard ½ in detecting pipe it compresses the trapped air column, and the pressure acts on a diaphragm that operates an SPDT switch. Because nothing electrical touches the liquid, it suits viscous media, wastewater and sites where hazardous conditions exist or power is not available at the tank.
It detects levels from 200 to 5,000 mm, switches 250 V 10 A AC, and comes with a neoprene diaphragm (NLS-1A, NLS-3) or a Viton diaphragm for chemicals and solvents (NLS-1S).
