Description
The APG VBL is a vibrating rod level switch for detecting bulk solids in medium and large hoppers and silos. The 275 mm stainless steel rod vibrates freely until material covers it, then switches an SPDT relay rated 5 A at 250 V AC; a sensitivity dial adapts it to anything from coarse, dense material to light fluidized powders.
It runs on 20–250 V AC or DC, mounts with a 1 in PT thread, withstands up to 20 bar and sits in a die-cast aluminium IP65 housing.
