Description
The APG IRU-5000 is a short-range ultrasonic level sensor for small tanks and totes, measuring liquids and solids from 102 mm to about 2 m with ±0.25% accuracy and 2.5 mm resolution. Its 143 kHz transducer gives a narrow 9° beam, and built-in compensation handles temperature, humidity and agitators.
It mounts in a 1 in or 2 in NPT port and offers 4–20 mA, 4–20 mA with two NPN outputs, or a 0–5 V output. The 4–20 mA models are non-incendive for Class I Div 2 and Zone 2 locations.
