Description
Macnaught MX S meters are oval gear positive displacement flow meters for solvents, thinners and other low-viscosity liquids that attack elastomers, in sizes from ⅛ in to 4 in. They measure volume directly with ±0.5% of reading accuracy (±1% on the smallest size) and ±0.03% repeatability, and need no straight pipe runs.
Construction is aluminium 6061 body; 316 stainless steel rotors (aluminium on 1½ in and larger); PTFE-encapsulated (FEP) seals, for −40 to +120 °C. Outputs range from reed and Hall pulses, including intrinsically safe Ex ia versions, to LCD registers with scaled pulse, 4–20 mA, flow alarms or batch control.
