Description
The Rosemount 0085 is a non-intrusive pipe clamp temperature sensor that measures process temperature without a thermowell or any penetration of the pipe. Its spring-loaded Pt100 RTD with a silver tip clamps to pipes from ½ in to 60 in and covers −50 to 300 °C (Class B, Class A optional). Paired with a Rosemount 3144P or 648 transmitter, X-well Technology corrects for pipe and ambient conditions to give an accurate process reading.
It installs without welding, can be maintained without shutting down the process, and avoids flow, pressure and vibration stress on the sensor. Clamps come in stainless, duplex or carbon steel, and flameproof and intrinsically safe approvals are available.
