Description
The Rosemount 248 head-mount transmitter is a basic, reliable HART temperature transmitter that converts an RTD, thermocouple, millivolt or resistance input into a 4–20 mA/HART signal. It offers ±0.20 °C plus 0.10% of span accuracy with a Pt100, stability of ±0.1% of reading, and operates from −50 to +85 °C ambient.
It fits DIN B heads and enclosures, reduces installation cost compared with wiring sensors directly to the control system, and is available with SIL 2 certification and hazardous-area approvals.
