Description
The Rosemount 644 is a versatile temperature transmitter family; the datasheet supplied covers the 644R rail-mount version with HART 7. It accepts one or two RTD, thermocouple, millivolt or resistance inputs and achieves ±0.15 °C (±0.10 °C enhanced) plus 0.03% of span with a Pt100.
It runs on 7.5–48 V DC with 2.5 kV galvanic isolation, operates from −50 to +85 °C, includes a diagnostic suite and Callendar-Van Dusen sensor matching, and is certified to IEC 61508 for SIL 3 applications.
