Description
The Rosemount 848T is a high-density temperature transmitter with eight independently configurable inputs for RTDs, thermocouples, millivolts, ohms or 4–20 mA, reducing the cost per measurement point. On FOUNDATION Fieldbus up to 128 temperatures can share one segment, and a WirelessHART version reaches locations without cabling.
It can be mounted close to the process in intrinsically safe or Division 2 areas, and its measurement validation diagnostic flags sensor degradation, wiring problems, high vibration and abnormal process behaviour.
