Description
The Dynasonics DFX is a clamp-on Doppler ultrasonic flow meter for liquids that carry suspended solids or gas bubbles, such as sewage, sludge, mud and slurries. Its DT9 transducers strap to the outside of metal or plastic pipes from 6 mm upwards, measuring velocities from 0.05 to 9 m/s with ±2% of full scale accuracy and no pipe cutting or process shutdown.
The NEMA 4X monitor shows rate and total and offers 4–20 mA, dual relay and pulse outputs, powered from AC mains or 12–28 V DC. Transducers are IP67 and rated to 90 °C, with cables up to about 300 m.
