Description
The Endress+Hauser Proline Prosonic Flow P 500 is a clamp-on transit-time ultrasonic flow meter for liquids in pipes from DN 15 to DN 4000. Mounted from outside without interrupting the process, it measures bidirectional flow from 0 to 15 m/s independent of pressure, density and conductivity, with typical accuracy of ±2% of reading (±0.5% with field calibration) and ±0.3% repeatability, and handles media from −40 to +170 °C.
FlowDC compensation keeps accuracy with very short inlet runs, and sensors are available for metal, plastic and GRP pipes. The remote Proline 500 transmitter offers up to three configurable I/Os (4–20 mA HART, pulse, relay, Modbus), a touch display with WLAN, Heartbeat verification and Ex db ia approvals.
