Description
The KROHNE OPTISONIC 3400 is an inline ultrasonic flow meter for liquids with three parallel acoustic paths welded into the meter body, giving bidirectional measurement accurate to ±0.3% of reading ±2 mm/s with ±0.2% repeatability, and no moving parts or pressure loss. It covers DN25 to DN3000 and process temperatures from −45 to +180 °C, with a cryogenic version down to −200 °C.
The UFC 400 converter reports volume and mass flow, velocity and sound velocity, provides NAMUR NE 107 diagnostics per path, and offers 4–20 mA HART 7, pulse, Modbus, FOUNDATION Fieldbus and Profibus outputs.
