Description
The KROHNE OPTISONIC 6300 is a permanently installed clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter for liquids, mounted on the outside of pipes from DN15 to DN4000 without cutting the line or stopping the process. Single-path, dual-path and X-mode configurations are available; the dual-path versions add redundancy with automatic path replacement and lower uncertainty.
Accuracy is ±1% of reading for pipes of DN50 and above (±3% below), improvable to ±0.5% by field calibration, with ±0.2% repeatability. The UFC 300 converter offers HART, pulse and fieldbus outputs, and sensors and converter are approved ATEX/IECEx for Zones 1 and 2.
