Description
The Panametrics DigitalFlow DF868 is a fixed transit-time ultrasonic flow meter for clean liquids, used with clamp-on transducers on pipes from 12.7 mm to 7.6 m or wetted transducers from 25 mm to 5 m. It measures bidirectional flow up to ±12.2 m/s with 400:1 rangeability, typically ±1–2% of reading clamp-on and ±1% wetted (±0.5% with process calibration), and ±0.1–0.3% repeatability.
A second channel can measure two pipes or average two paths, and the Automatic Tracking Window maintains accuracy as fluid properties change. It has dual graphic displays, isolated 4–20 mA outputs plus option boards, and Type 4X, explosion-proof or flameproof enclosures.
