Description
The KROHNE OPTISWIRL 4200 is a vortex flow meter for liquids, gases and steam in sizes DN15 to DN300. With integrated temperature measurement and an optional pressure sensor it computes compensated mass, normalised volume and energy flow, for example on saturated or superheated steam. Accuracy is ±0.75% (liquids) or ±1.0% (gas and steam) of measured value with ±0.1% repeatability.
It handles media from −40 to +240 °C at up to 100 bar, with 316L or Hastelloy wetted parts in flange, sandwich or reduced-bore designs. The two-wire transmitter provides 4–20 mA HART 7 and a pulse/status output and is certified for SIL 2.
