Description
The Rosemount 8800D is a vortex flow meter with an all-welded, gasket-free body and an isolated sensor that can be replaced without breaking the process seal. It is available as flanged, wafer, Reducer (extended low-flow range) and dual-sensor versions from ½ to 14 in, with ±0.65% of rate accuracy on liquids and ±1.0% on gas and steam.
Mass balancing and adaptive digital signal processing give immunity to pipe vibration, process temperatures reach −200 to +450 °C in extended and severe-service versions, and MultiVariable options compensate steam flow for temperature and pressure. Outputs include HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus and Modbus, and the meter is SIL 2/3 capable.
