Description
The Badger Meter M4000 is an electromagnetic flow meter for sizes from ¼ to 12 in with an FM approval for Class I, Division 1 hazardous locations (Groups C–D) and Class II Division 1. It measures conductive liquids to ±0.2% of rate over a 300:1 range, with PFA, PTFE or hard rubber liners and Alloy C electrodes as standard.
The amplifier mounts on the meter or up to 30 m away and provides scalable 0/4–20 mA, two pulse/frequency outputs and RS232, with a backlit display and three totalisers. It runs on 85–240 V AC or 24 V DC in a NEMA 4X (IP66) enclosure, with carbon steel or stainless ANSI Class 150 flanges.
