Vacuum pump (liquid ring / rotary vane). Liquid ring: an eccentric impeller in a ring of seal water compresses gas, tolerant of vapour and liquid carry-over. Rotary vane: oil-lubricated or dry vanes for clean gas and deeper vacuum. Used for paper machines, vacuum filters, deaeration, evaporators, packaging and degassing.
