Description
The Rosemount 389 is a general-purpose pH or ORP sensor in a moulded Tefzel body with 1 in MNPT threads front and rear, for insertion into pipes, submersion in tanks and ponds, or flow-through mounting. Its triple-junction, gel-filled reference resists poisoning ions such as sulfides, cyanides, ammonia and chlorine.
It measures 0–14 pH or ±1500 mV ORP from 0 to 85 °C, at up to 100 psig at 65 °C. The integral SMART preamplifier stores calibration data so sensors can be calibrated in the workshop and swapped in the field, and the 389VP version uses a Variopol VP8 quick-disconnect cable.
