GF Type 546 true-union ball valve, ⅜–4 in, PVC / CPVC / PP / ABS / PVDF, PTFE seats, EPDM or FPM seals

Description

The GF Type 546 is a true-union thermoplastic ball valve in sizes from ⅜ to 4 in, made in PVC, CPVC, PP, ABS or PVDF with PTFE seats and EPDM or FPM seals. The floating full-port ball blocks in both directions, the stem is blowout-proof with a built-in break point outside the seals, and the union ends let the valve be removed from the line without cutting the pipe.

Pressure ratings are up to 232 psi (16 bar) for PVC, CPVC and PVDF and 150 psi (10 bar) for PP and ABS, with PVDF usable from −20 to 140 °C. Every valve is tested bubble-tight. End connections include solvent socket, threaded, ANSI flanged and fusion, and the valve can be actuated, fitted with limit switches, or supplied with a vented ball for sodium hypochlorite.
