Description
The Rosemount 402 is a retractable contacting conductivity sensor that slides into the pipe through a 1¼ in full-port ball valve. It can be withdrawn for inspection or cleaning without shutting down or draining the line, which makes it practical on continuously running process and utility lines.
It has concentric titanium electrodes, a glass-filled PEEK insulator and a 316 stainless steel tube, with a factory-measured cell constant of 0.01, 0.1 or 1.0 /cm. It works from 0 to 100 °C at up to 200 psig, and the 402VP version uses a Variopol VP6 quick-disconnect cable.
