Description
The Rosemount 403 is a contacting conductivity sensor with a 1½ in or 2 in sanitary flange, built for hygienic water systems such as water-for-injection (WFI) and food and beverage water treatment. Wetted plastics and elastomers comply with 21 CFR 177, the O-rings meet USP Class VI, and all wetted surfaces have a 0.4 µm Ra finish.
It is available with cell constants of 0.01, 0.1 or 1.0 /cm, works from 0 to 105 °C at up to 250 psig, and can be steam-sterilised up to 135 °C. An internal platinum RTD provides temperature compensation; the 403VP version uses a Variopol quick-disconnect.
