Description
The Rosemount TUpH 396 is a heavy-duty pH sensor for dirty, coating and abrasive liquids such as paper machine headbox stock, lime slurries and pigment or dye processes. Its TUpH reference and helical, poisoning-resistant reference path keep the signal stable when the sensor is coated, and there is no electrolyte to top up.
It measures 0–14 pH from 0 to 100 °C at up to 10.34 barg (6.89 barg with the flat bulb), in a 316 stainless steel body with EPDM seals. The 396 has a 15 ft integral cable; the 396VP uses a Variopol VP8 quick-disconnect cable. A flat-bulb glass option reduces coating and pitting in slurries.
