Rosemount 242 flow-through toroidal conductivity sensor, 1–4 in (DN25–DN100), PEEK/Teflon/alumina liner, ANSI or DIN flanges

Description

The Rosemount 242 is a flow-through toroidal conductivity sensor that fits between pipe flanges in line sizes from 1 to 4 in (DN 25 to DN 100), with ANSI 150#/300# or PN16 DIN flanges. The process liquid flows through an insulating liner surrounded by the toroids, making it suitable for viscous, abrasive and fibrous liquids found in pulp and paper, mining and chemical plants.

Only the liner (Teflon, glass-filled PEEK or alumina), the contact rings (316 SS, 20Cb-3 or Hastelloy C-276) and the O-rings are wetted, and the liner is replaceable. A Pt100 RTD and a NEMA 7D junction box are included, and calibration can be checked in line with resistors. Temperature and pressure limits depend on the liner and size.
