Description
The Rosemount 404 is a contacting conductivity sensor built into its own small flow cell, designed for sidestream sample lines. The low hold-up volume gives a fast response when conductivity or temperature changes, which suits high-purity water and clean cooling water below 2,000 µS/cm.
It has titanium electrodes and a cell constant of 0.01 or 0.1 /cm. The PVC version works to 60 °C with ⅜ in barbed connections; the stainless steel version works to 100 °C and 100 psig with ⅜ in compression fittings and can be dismantled for cleaning.
